Europe is definitely one of the most exciting continents to travel to; there you will find beautiful and stunning places which nowadays are beyond just LGBT Friendly cities, in fact some of them are considered by several as the Gay Capital Cities of the world.
Among them, we can definitely name Madrid or Barcelona as hosts of a vivid LGBT culture, besides being well known for their art, architecture and tourist attractions. These two cities are home to dozens of gay spots and even spaces known nowadays as heterofriendly, such as the Axel Hotels. Another European capital city with an active LGBT scene is Berlin, Germany’s capital, perfect place for those looking for alternative choices. And we just cannot leave behind Amsterdam, a city which represents liberty and fun.
Moovz, the LGBT social network, recently launched a poll for its users asking which of these 4 cities they consider their favorite LGBT Capital and these were the results:
In fourth place it was Berlin with 13% of the votes, followed by Barcelona and Amsterdam with 24% each; but Madrid took the crown with 31% of all votes.
But why Madrid? Well the city is a vibrant and fun spot for all gay, lesbian, trans or bi. Its famous gay quartier, Barrio de Chueca is the perfect place to hang out with friends and to attend the best LGBT venues and parties in the city. Madrid, and Spain in overall is very well known to worldwide rank in LGBT issues and acceptance, making a welcoming country for the whole community.
Remember last year where we went there to the Madrid World Pride? It was a fabulous event full of celebration and with the best parties ever! We know for sure that this year we will also attend the pride in Madrid, and if you want to join us, we recommend you to stay at the best hotel in town: AXEL HOTEL MADRID, designed specially to serve the LGBT community, just as their other hotels present in several of the most important LGBT friendly cities worldwide. They are just spectacular!
Ah! and by the way, Axel Hotels is preparing the biggest event of this year: the most amazing LGBT cruise even seen, all included, entertainment, parties, and stops in the best gay spots of the Mediterranean Sea, including the fun island of Ibiza and fabulous Barcelona.
