VIDEO: Transgender Navy SEAL, Kristen Beck, Responds to Military Ban

The White House is currently defending President Trump’s decision to ban transgender people from serving in the military, but there are two sides to this story.

Kristen Beck is a retired United States Navy SEAL who gained public attention in 2013 when she came out as a trans woman. She published her memoir in June 2013, Warrior Princess: A U.S. Navy SEAL’s Journey to Coming out Transgender, detailing her experiences.

Beck served in the U.S. Navy for twenty years, completed 13 tours, and is the first openly transgender former U.S. Navy SEAL.  Watch the video below to find out Kristen Beck’s thoughts on the military ban.
